Tour Auto

April 8, 2025

With its original design alternating between timed events on the road and on the circuit, its well-oiled organization and its unique atmosphere, the Tour Auto is one of the rare events in the world that any historic car enthusiast should not miss. Created in 1899, the Tour Auto is the oldest automobile competition event still in operation. The revival in 1992 in the form of a historical retrospective was an immediate success. Three years were enough to establish the event, which has thus become one of the most important global automobile events for major collectors. Known for being one of the most prestigious rallies in the world, it brings together cars from major brands such as Alpine, Alfa Romeo, BMW, Ford, Lancia, Lamborghini, Maserati, Mercedes, and Porsche, which have left their mark on the editions up until 1986.

The 34th edition of the largest French historic rally will honor the Lancia Stratos and celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Alpine A106. The Tour Auto is an ode to motor racing that the drivers involved will recite from April 7 to 12, 2025. For this event, five grids will share the poster: three in competition and two in regularity. This 34th edition of the Tour Auto will join Paris to Nice and will stop for a timed event on the Dijon-Prenois circuit on Tuesday, April 8.
